You can look for the popular meeting places of Washington’s power moguls, and possibly even rub shoulders with a senator or two. Washington is also home to a number of comparatively smaller museums. Several states with wonderful attractions are within a short driving distance from Washington D.C. so you can get a motel in the capital city and still visit lots of attractions in the area.
