Gatorland: If you have not seen a live alligator before, here is your once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to learn about and see them at very close range. Gatorland is an actual gator park. It is a 110-acre farm where you can both learn some very interesting things about these creatures and also see them live for the first time (for most people.) This will also be a very exciting experience for the kids. There is no wondering why this is a favorite location for tourists from all over the USA and the world.

Kennedy Space Center: Orlando is as much about science and technology as it is about fun. Here, you will be able to personally tour NASA’s space launch area, get some spaceflight simulator drills, enjoy some “space food” and perhaps even witness an actual launch of a space mission. It is a place you would not want to miss both for the fun and the education.

Silver Springs: Ok, may be the springs are not actually silver in color, but it is close. The silver springs is a natural spring stretching for about 350 acres of water. You can take a ride in one of the glass bottom boat, enjoy the natural underwater life below and wonder at the sheer spectacle of nature.

Orlando Science Center
: This is another place you don’t want to miss whether you are here alone or with the kids. In addition to the fun you will be having, you also get a rare chance to engage in some scientific activities that you would have normally being unable or disallowed to try elsewhere.  There is also the refractor telescope, the largest of its kind in the whole of Florida, where you can enjoy a natural and rare view of the stars at night-something most city-dwellers would only dream of.

Wonderworks: An Orlando travel is never complete without seeing the Wonderworks. This is one of the marvels of Florida. This is an actually house that is built upside down. It is also aligned with more than 100 exhibits that will give you not just a good time, but also carve long-lasting memories for you. Enjoy the fun and interaction that this icon affords you.
