One of the biggest concerns of travelers is knowing the best places to travel to. While every country may have certain locations that are considered prime tourist spots only few have proven to be the biggest favorites among many.
Below is a list of five of the world’s most fantastic family destinations.
New York City: There is a hardly anybody who does not know about New York City; it is often thought by some to be the same as the state of New York. In fact, most people think of it when ‘New York’ is mentioned. Between its five boroughs, it boasts some of the world’s most diverse cultures and its most iconic landmarks and attractions. NYC is the proud home of the Empire State building, the Statue of Liberty, Central Park and the world-famous Times Square, among others.
Rome: This was the seat of ancient European civilization, headed by the Romans (modern-day Italians) This city carries the cultural history of a whole continent and boast s some of the world’s finest architectural masterpieces. St. Peter’s Basilica, The Pantheon, The Roman Forum and The Coliseum all call Rome home. Aptly known as “The Eternal City,” Rome is one of the best places to travel to.
Bangkok: This bustling Asian city embodies all that a tourist would want. Here, you can visit the icons of their heritage symbolized by the ancient magnificent palaces and temples. The Marble Temple and Temple of the Dawn are prime features of this city. A visit to the famous Lumphinee Park is a welcome getaway from the busy life of the city. Come here to enjoy the yummy delicacies of the locals, experience the unique architectural history of the people and feel its friendly climate.
San Francisco: This is one of the State of California’s and, indeed, the United State’s most popular tourist destinations, making it one of the best places to travel to. The Golden Gate Bridge is the main landmark of San Francisco. However, you can enjoy much more than that. The hilly streets, twisty roads and the no-longer functioning Alcatraz prison are all excuses to be here. Enjoy the sunshine of this little Californian paradise.
Sydney: Popular icons like the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House are some of the most easily recognizable symbols of Australia. In addition to these places, Sydney also boasts (and rightly so) of very scenic landscapes and natural attractions including The Rocks and Darling Harbour. You can also spend time admiring Australia’s modern marvels like its hotels. Museums of all types also abound to help you learn the culture and history of the people. Maybe just go a little shopping sometimes, too. 🙂
