Cancun for New Years

December 14, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

Lavish New Year’s Eve parties are usually watched on TV from the comfort of a couch. This year, however, the CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort and the JW Marriott Cancun Resort want Cancun visitors to live the party instead of watching it. Both Cancun hotels offer holiday rates, specials and parties open to the public.

The JW Marriott Cancun resort throws a New Year’s Eve themed Gala Dinner, while the CasaMagna Marriott Cancun supplies great international food at its four specialty restaurants. Furthermore, the JW Marriott Cancun hotel’s celebration features a casino night, live band, an open bar and a dance floor. Rates at the JW Marriott Cancun Hotel start at $219 USD/night, while rates at the CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Resort start at $149 USD/night. Those wishing to attend the festivities do not necessarily have to be guests at either hotel.

Both Marriott resorts are a great place to enjoy a Cancun vacation. The CasaMagna Marriott Resort serves up excellent food all night long at one of its four Cancun restaurants, each featuring a different international cuisine. Visitors looking for something a bit more upscale should attend the JW Marriott Cancun’s Gala Dinner.

Those who reserve the Gala Dinner enjoy a seven course meal while listening to live music and entertainment. This special event at the JW Marriott Cancun asks attendees to wear gala-appropriate clothing. Reservations are mandatory to both the CasaMagna Marriott Resort’s restaurants and the JW Marriott Cancun Resort’s Gala Dinner.

The dinner will cost $220 USD per person, which includes an open bar and additional entertainment. Buffets at the CasaMagna Marriott hotel will cost $49 USD per person. Cancun is a beautiful place to spend New Year’s Eve. While the people in New York City are bundled up waiting for the Time’s Square Ball to drop, people on a Cancun vacation can sip frozen drinks on the beach. The Marriott Cancun hotels’ low rates and special events promise to make New Year’s Eve even better.
