Fair Airfare And Less Stress

March 26, 2012 by admin Leave a Comment

Anyone who is an experienced traveler knows that it is sometimes very difficult to plan everything properly, so that you are not unbelievably stressed out when it is all said and done. Do not let the stresses of trying to prepare for a family vacation get in the way of everything that you have to look forward to, by taking this wonderful journey with the people that you love.

If you take the time out and plan properly, then you can prepare for your family vacation without all of the stresses that so many people end up putting upon themselves. Purchasing your tickets in advance will help in assuring you that you will be able to get a fair priced airfare ticket for your traveling needs.

It is very important to have a good, organized, planning schedule for your flying preparations. By choosing to fly out early in the morning or very late at night, you will more than likely be able to purchase an airfare ticket at a fair price, also by choosing the day that you will be departing will save you money, pick a time when you figure most people will not be flying, that should ensure you of getting a better price.

Choosing Aisle or Window Seats

sunrise from a planeChoosing your seat for your flying experience is also another very important thing to remember, when planning for your traveling. When you are choosing which seat would be best for you, it all depends on what your preferences may be. If you do not want to sit near children when you are flying, then you should choose the exiting rows on the plane, children are now allowed in these seats.

Remember though, by choosing these seats, it means if there happens to be any kind of incident or accident, you are the one responsible for opening those exit doors. If you are on a business trip and are possibly in a huge hurry, then you should probably decide to choose the seats near the front of the airplane, obviously.

Last but not least you will have the option of choosing between a window seat or an aisle seat. If you are one that can not sit still for very long periods of time then you should choose the aisle seat, it would be more convenient for someone needing to get up and down many times throughout their flight.

If you are a napper and like just kicking back and relaxing, a window seat would definitely be best for you. You will have the luxury of resting your sweet little head against the comfy side of the window.

When to Arrive at the Airport

Another thing that many travelers may forget to think about is once they get to the airport, what is their plan for escaping the airport as fast as they can, removing themselves from the enormous crowds of people piling up in the airports, awaiting their departure or arriving. So keep that in mind when you are planning for your travels, so that you can include this part of your experience in on that.

Being prepared at all times and less stressed, will make for a much better flying experience, for you and your family. By doing these things, you should also be able to save yourself some cash, which will make you and your family very happy.

Four Places to see in Europe

March 12, 2012 by admin Leave a Comment

A travel in Europe will have many exciting places to visit. From Paris to Rome, from London to Prague, there is no shortage of sights to behold or monuments to see.

But there are certain places in Europe that have stood the test of time and are prime tourist attractions for people from all over the world. Here is a list some of the most popular ones and what they have to offer you.

Paris: This is probably the romantic capital of Western Europe. And no less is the French language. Visit and see firsthand the Eiffel Towers that had you had hitherto only seen pictures of. If you get a little weary, you will find a café shop around the corner to rest your feet and refresh a little.  The streets here are also historical, so take some time and revisit the historical evolution of the French and their cities. Hurricane Ike and Mexico

March 10, 2012 by admin Leave a Comment

Many people were concerned about Hurricane Ike and whether it would cause a problem for people going on holidays this fall.

Well good news, there are no problems as far as the weather is concerned. No hurricane Ike problems in the Cancun or Mayan Riviera areas of the east coast of Mexico. Many people were concerned about the effect of Hurricane Ike as you may or may not be aware there have been some tough times in Mexico as far as past hurricanes were concerned. As you may or may not know Cancun can expect to get hit by a major hurricane once every 10 years and a smaller one a bit more often. In fact back in 2005 Hurricane Wilma hit and destroyed the beaches of Cancun but they have been built up since.

So what was the effect of Hurricane Ike this week? Well the peak winds only hit 20 miles per hour at the peak of the hurricane and the temperatures were in the 80’s as usual.

Cancun and the Mayan Riviera are my favorite areas of Mexico to travel and with a plan to hopefully visit there this Winter I was really nervous about ths big hurricane ruining such a beautiful area.

Great to see that Hurricane Ike was a non event in Mexico this week!

La Paz Visitors Guide

September 20, 2011 by admin Leave a Comment

Everyone ends up in LA PAZ eventually, if only to get the ferry out, and it seems that most of the population of Baja California Sur is gravitating here, too. The outskirts are an ugly sprawl, their development outpacing the spread of paved roads and facilities. But the town centre, modernized as it is, has managed to preserve something of its quiet colonial atmosphere. You can stroll along the waterfront malecón, and for once the beach in town looks inviting enough to swim from – though there are no guarantees on the cleanliness of the water.

The Bay of La Paz was explored by Cortes himself in the first years after the Conquest – drawn, as always, by tales of great wealth – but he found little to interest him and, despite successive expeditions, at first merely rapacious, later missionary, La Paz wasn’t permanently settled until the end of the eighteenth century. It grew rapidly, however, thanks to the riches of the surrounding sea, and above all as a pearl-fishing centre. American troops occupied the town during the Texan war, and six years later it was again invaded, by William Walker in one of his many attempts to carve himself out a Central American kingdom; by this time it was already capital of the territory of California. The pearl trade has pretty much dried up – a mystery disease wiped out most of the oysters – but since the 1960s La Paz has continued to boom, buoyed up by tourists at first flown in, then boosted by the growing ferry service, and now supplemented by the hordes pouring down Hwy-1.
