New York Sports

New York City - Broadway
New York The Sports City

New York is certainly a city that loves its sports and cheers for team. New York is probably the best represented city and the state in this country when he s acts for major league teams. I don ‘ve never quite seen it, but I honestly can not imagine a night when there is not some big sporting event takes place somewhere in this great city.

New York Rangers

National Hockey League that almost did not go is back and strong. New York is well represented by the Ranger who reached an agreement this year to woo wonderful Shanahan away from the Red Wings. They play their home games at Madison Square Garden and have some of the most loyal fans. Even if you say Detroit and visit, and if the Rangers play at home, so it is perfect opportunity (assuming you can get a ticket) to file and see how Shanahan is adjusting to life in the Big Apple and s it lacks life back to Joe.

New York Yankees and Mets

Put hockey aside for the moment, there are many other professional sports, you can watch while you’re visiting New York City. I think that a few baseball fans in this town somewhere. I say a little because it seems that they had to create two baseball teams to contain the fans. I will say however that these fans are loyal to a fault that teams they support. The New York Mets and Yankees in New York represent the largest city in Major League Baseball and the two teams draw loyal support of all their fans.

New York Giants and Jets

The amazing thing for me, it is that the double-team n has not ended with baseball. It seems that New York also has two teams in the National Football League as well. The New York Giants and Jets both represent this beautiful city football fans across the country. Although I don have no preference or preferred the same for all these teams and n really have no idea how a city can survive with this kind of heated division. It is obvious that they are not as rabid as some hockey fans may tend to be or what would be civil war in the streets.

New York Knicks

Joking aside, it seems that until now there that there one NBA team and they are the New York Knicks. I don enter it in the way it is unfair if misrepresent hockey and basketball because those guys could actually be the best market share, the whole town roots for them, not only half. With so many possibilities for major sporting events, it is surprising that men in this town get anything done without the realization handheld portable TV with them at all times.

I do not know about your home, but in my house, it is quite difficult to schedule important events in our family life around a local team for each sport (and we don ; not even have a baseball team). I can not imagine how women in New York do. But women and all men love you, I must say congratulations for your great support team and give your visitors many opportunities to watch such wonderful our sport when we’re away from home too. It is difficult to identify something about this city that is the greatest, but that just might be.

Makes Broadway New York Sing

New York City - Broadway
New York City - Broadway

Whenever I think about traveling to New York, or on vacation or at a distance of one or two day visit I can not help but think of Broadway and the great shows that are waiting in these hallowed halls of entertainment delight. Broadway is the essence of New York to me. This may in turn be bawdy, brawling, loud, loud, soft, romantic, comedic, and rip-roaringly funny. Broadway has it all for those who are willing to look for their perfect fit.

The problem with Broadway is that there are so many wonderful shows to see and such limited time (for most of us), in which they see. I do not believe even those who live in New York have enough time to appreciate the artistic treasure, which is represented in this wonderful city that never sleeps. The truth is, that u200b u200bw the proper use of all available theater offers to you, I almost never have to sleep alone.

New York Musicals

It is important to remember that not all programs are available at any time. Check whether the program you will want to watch during the visit, before you get your hopes. On to the musicals, which, incidentally, my favorite types of Broadway entertainment. Chicago Musical, Forbidden Broadway (this offers a fun spoof on Broadway), Jersey Boys, Naked Boys Singing (yes, they are!), Phantom of the Opera, Rent, Wicked and Mama Mia!

New York Comedy

Broadway is known for thumbing his nose at convention, as well as to rent a hair and good ole time. The same refers to the theater today. Comedies and musicals on Broadway are not mutually exclusive, so some hilarity listed below some extent, song and dance (and probably a little of both, but it certainly laughter). Let the comedy begin! I love you, Your Perfect, Now Change (seriously, is the name we’re already a good start on the road to laughter). God sees Dog: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead (I think someone was peering into the windows of my kids at night it is actually off Broadway but I thought that she was born, which recall this catchy title and all). Spamalot. This is a rising star rave reviews from critics and a fairly good turnout so buy tickets early! Manufacturers, who was recently a motion picture and Little Dog laughed my entire list of comedies. I hope you saw something here that looks like a lot of fun, I know, I saw a few!

New York Drama

Although many people think about Happy Go Lucky song and dance, which is often associated with Broadway there is a deep dramatic flare to the victims, as well. Especially some of the musicals, which carry a deep message about music, life and love among these wonderful icons of Broadway are as follows: Rent-a very La Boheme meets modern life musical that is probably one of the best musicals on Broadway I have ever seen and I’m a big fan of Phantom. Les Miserables is another Broadway drama that really needs no introduction, Grey Gardens is perfect for anyone who fears becoming a cat lady or spinster, A Chorus Line, Chicago, The Color Purple, Phantom of the Opera (my personal favorite ) and Vertical Hour (this is a new Let’s hope it lasts).

There are several musical and artistic family who wear them, among which recall are as follows: Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera (might be a little scary for younger children in some scenes), Tarzan, Lion King, Mary Poppins, Momma Mia, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Beauty and the Beast. You know your child best and what will or will not be frightening for them or possibly lead to uncomfortable questions for you, view most Broadway this in mind.

Broadway is a great way to really enjoy what New York has to offer its guests an entertainment experience. Although it’s almost impossible to show everyone that it can attract attention is quite possible that the time to see who is most appealing to you and will rather experience for the whole family.

Given your limited budget, have you made any plans for a family national park vacation? Any time of year, a low cost getaway can create memories to cherish. But for some Sandwiched Boomers, squeezed between caring for growing children and aging parents, the choices may be slim.

According to a recent poll, close to 80% of adults believe that family and friends are more important than possessions – in other words, relationships trump ‘bling’ in creating happiness, satisfaction and fulfillment of the American dream. So, in these tough financial times, families are still taking vacations together yet are managing to cut back on spending. Many are accomplishing this feat by visiting the National Parks – figures show that attendance has been unusually high. Even the President and Vice-President have visited some of these majestic national treasures with their families. [Read more…] about Make the Most of a Family National Park Vacation

Asbury Park is Back

August 17, 2010 by admin Leave a Comment

asbury parkGreetings from Asbury Park! – I have been a fan of Bruce Springsteen ever since that album came out and now apparently Asbury Park has made a comeback. I was just reading an article in the USA Today Travel section where they talked about this area and I have a bunch of the article here and you can click the link to see the rest.

If you’re a Bruce Springsteen fan, have we got a trip for you.

Even if your reaction to that famous salutation is “Hi!” “Hey!” or “Huh?” the folks in Asbury Park will be equally happy to meet you.

Where is Asbury Park anyway?

This friendly seaside community, indelibly linked to Springsteen’s 1973 debut album, Greetings From Asbury Park, N.J., has plenty to offer — whether you’re among the fans making pilgrimages, or just want to have fun, relax and enjoy the beach. [Read more…] about Asbury Park is Back
